An NDP member in parliament had a borderline psychotic episode on Tuesday, screaming at her fellow MPs to declare the “ongoing genocide” against Indigenous, trans women, and two-spirit people a “Canada wide emergency.”
NDP MP Leah Gazan stood up on Tuesday and screamed that there’s a genocide happening currently in Canada.
“Mr. Speaker, the ongoing genocide of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, gender non-conforming, and two-spirit people is a Canada wide emergency,” she said.
Gazan continued, shrieking: “We are not disposable, our lives are precious, and we deserve justice!”
“Will Canada recognize this ongoing genocide a Canada wide emergency?”
The Liberal MP quickly agreed with her statement.
“I think the answer to that is a resounding yes,” MP Marc Miller said.
Miller said the Liberals made a $60 million investment into an Indigenous regional hub meant to save lives and provide the “culturally sensitive and appropriate care they need.”
While missing and murdered Indigenous women is a legitimate issue in Canada, it’s unclear why Gazan lumped trans women, two-spirit, and gender non-conforming people into the equation.
The RCMP has stated that between 1980-2012, there were 1,200 missing or murdered Indigenous women. However, some Indigenous groups believe the number is much higher.
Last year, Gazan said that denying genocide against Indigenous people in Canada should be hate speech punishable by law.
The widely reported mass graves hoax was pushed by mainstream outlets including the CBC.
As previously reported by The Counter Signal, following these ‘mass graves’ reports, there were at least 58 attacks on Christian and mainly Roman Catholic congregations in less than a year.
Of those churches, at least 17 of them were scorched or burnt to a crisp in suspicious circumstances.
Moreover, as noted and as previously reported by TCS Editor-in-Chief Keean Bexte and Lauren Southern, to date, not a single body has been found in these supposed “mass graves.”
