Canadians protesting Prime Minster Justin Trudeau spoke to The Counter Signal in Hamilton Ontario, where Trudeau is on caucus retreat with the Liberals.
“BREAKING: A convoy is scheduled to drive to Trudeau’s cabinet retreat and lock down the streets surrounding the meeting rooms,” tweeted The Counter Signal’s founder, Keean Bexte.
“Unclear if cabinet will be evacuating. Convoy will arrive in a few hours. Here are what the protesters are saying right now.”
One protestor called Trudeau a tyrant and said Canadians have seen enough.
“He’s just out of control,” she said.
Another protestor said “He’s been in power now for 8 years and I don’t want him to have a fourth term.”
A third protestor spoke to the amount of corruption taking place among the Liberals in general. Last week, yet another Liberal MP was implicated in an ethics scandal.
And it’s not just Trudeau that some voiced their displeasure about, but also Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, who just returned from the WEF summit in Davos, where she serves as a board member.
“I think she’s just as bad,” a young woman said.
On Monday, a massive freedom convoy donned with Canada flags slow-rolled through Hamilton, the first of three nights Prime Minister Trudeau will be staying in the steel city.
Last week, Trudeau experienced a similar greeting in Windsor, three hours southwest of Hamilton.
While visiting an auto plant, Trudeau was asked if he regrets his usage of calling protestors in Ottawa “tinfoil hats.”
Trudeau said he does not regret anything he said. He said there were “people out there trying to scare people into putting their own lives at risk and their communities at risk.”
“I won’t apologize for doing that. We kept Canadians safe during the pandemic. Canadians kept Canadians safe during the pandemic in spite of those who were deliberately telling everyone that getting a vaccine is worse than getting covid,” he added.
Trudeau’s coercive vaccine mandates have caused over 10,000 Canadians to suffer a serious adverse effect.
