Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to force the public sector and federally regulated workers to have no choice but to be jabbed with experimental COVID-19 vaccines.
That means that if you work for an airline, for a bank, on a First Nations reserve, in radio or television, at a railway, or delivering mail for Canada Post, the government will make you get a vaccine whether you like it or not.
It’s not enough for Trudeau to have a majority of the population fully vaccinated, everyone working for his government, or related industries must now bow down to his demands and subject their bodies to his whims.
For a prime minister who always talks up his social justice credentials, forcing Canadians, immigrants and Indigenous people to be vaccinated doesn’t seem very just or liberal.
“It’s time for people to get vaccinated, and for those who are hesitant to go and get their first and second doses,” Trudeau said alongside Quebec Premier François Legault on Thursday.
“That’s why I’ve asked the clerk of the Privy Council, who is responsible for the federal public service, to look at mandatory vaccinations for federal employees.”
It’s no surprise that Trudeau and Legault gave the announcement together, since like the prime minister, Premier Legault fancies himself as an authoritarian and wants to force a vaccine passport system on Quebec.
While the federal government and Quebec continue to go down the path of COVID-19 totalitarianism, Alberta is choosing freedom over fear.
After Premier Jason Kenney announced that COVID-19 will be treated no differently than the flu in Alberta, pandemic loving sheep have been on a full-out assault in an attempt to force the muzzle back onto Alberta through poorly attended “general strikes.”
Despite their attempts, it’s becoming apparent that Alberta made the right choice and will undoubtedly reap the benefits of being the first place in Canada to fully re-open.
